SG-12X Gypsum Retarder

◉ Compared with traditional inorganic hydroxy acid-based retarders, SG-12X benefits from its molecular structure and retarding mechanism, allowing it to provide the required setting time for gypsum at low dosages while maintaining less strength loss.

◉ SG-12X has a good compatibility with different gypsum such as natural gypsum, desulfurization gypsum, and other industrial by-product gypsum, with a pH range of 6.5-12.

◉ SG-12X performs better in a neutral gypsum system.

◉ When matching with SUNBO® water reducer, defoamer and stabilizer, it can better adjust the recipe of gypsum mortar.

Moisture content: ≤3%

pH value, 20% solution at 20°C: 10-13

Usage and Dosage：

Add in proportion and mix thoroughly.

Recommended dosage is 0.03-0.5% of binder weight, and should be determined through preliminary testing based on formula and refer to construction specifications.
